U14/U15 Program
The 14/15U Spring/Fall Program is for 12, 13 and 14 year old boys and girls
The spring 14/15U Program runs for eight weeks from April-June and the fall program runs for ten weeks from August-October. Teams participate in weekly training sessions and a all games are on Saturday. All spring and fall teams are Co-Ed. There is 60-90-minute weekly training session on weekdays twice a week. Games in the U14/15 program are officiated under FIFA Laws of the Game with approved youth modifications for time and and substitution policies.
14/15U Teams in the spring will travel to DeKalb, Rochelle and Rockford.
14/15U Teams in the fall will travel to DeKalb, Rochelle, Amboy and Genoa
All parents are strongly encouraged to support all the players on their child's team by planning their schedule to allow their child to participate and contribute to their team.
Players are placed on teams of up to 18 players. 14/15U teams compete with 11 players, one of which is a goalkeeper. Each player plays at least half of every game. Players receive a uniform consisting of a numbered jersey, shorts and socks. Players must wear shin guards and shoes and soccer cleats are recommended.
14/15U teams requires a parent volunteer for each assignment of Team Coach and Assistant Coach.
An annual AYSO Volunteer application and one-time Safe Haven Certification, Concussion training and Sudden Cardiac Arrest training is required for all Sycamore AYSO Volunteers. Sycamore AYSO U15 Team Coaches and Assistant Coaches must also complete an Intermediate Coach Course. Regional Referees must complete a Basic Referee Course.
